Earth Day is official April 22nd, at know thy self11 we are honoring Mother Earth all month long! With facts about are wonderful planet!

The Earth diameter is 25,000 miles.
The Earth is about 4.6 billion years old.
The Earth is 70 percent covered by water.

The continents are Africa, Asia, Australia, Antarctica,  Europe and the Americas {north and south}.

The world oceans are the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern Pacific and Arctic.

There three (3) main layers the crust, mantle and core.

Note*
 The core of the earth is hotter then the surface of the sun!
core of the earth is 7,158 degrees!
       
There three (3) main geological time scales, Cenozoic, Mesozoic and Paleozoic eras, with eleven (11) sub- geological periods.

There are two (2) poles, north and south pole. {This will be discuss in greater detail later.}
