Black Gangsters!
This looks to be a odd topic for a positive blog! We are still positive with the Black youth out of control maybe we have to do more to challenge them to do better!
I can not sit back anymore and listen to the lies been told in the hip- hop industry of rap music and videos! Some of them hip- hop magazine are getting just bad glamorizing drug dealers and killers!
I refuse to talk down or bad about the Black youth! I see a lot of their parents and grand parents who are not doing much better then the youth!
I hope maybe since, I understand America history and culture so well, it will help bring a better understanding of what a Black American Gangster is and his or her role is in the Black community. I will give plenty example in this section of real Black American Gangsters!
But we must understand why this is happen in our community!

Indirectly the problem we have is because of the Ronald Regan and his war on drugs policy! Ever President since then Democrat or Republic have sold the war on drugs to the public to get votes to get elected! Yes, even our beloved President Bill Clinton had a war on drugs and his administration locked up more Blacks than any other!
Black people speak broken English and slang but they do not understand White people slang! White people talk more in codes/ sort like slang but yet a little different.

War- on- Drugs means: a war on Blacks, meaning they feel most Blacks are criminals or a problem.

A little know fact! According to FBI records and stats, the most perpetrated crimes committed in America are sexual assaults {rape, inappropriate touch, child molestation and child porn}. These crimes make up over 60% of all crimes committed in America! Most of theses crimes are committed by White males! But yet conviction of these crimes to prison terms make up less than 20% of the prison population!!! Yet drug related crimes {selling, distribution and manufacturing} make up less than 20% of all crimes committed in America! But yet drug related convictions in the prison population account for more than 60% of the prison population! Which are Black men!
"This ain't math class but this stuff ain't adding up"!
Understanding why we have gangs it is simple! First and main issues is dead beat Dads!!!

If you do not support your child financially!
If you pay, but do not play with your child!
If you talk bad about the mother to the child or in front of the child!
There are many more, but they get the idea of who they are!
The next reason why we get gangs is tough and rough economic situations! {the Great Recession 2008 to present}. Young men band together because their is safety in numbers. They have a better chance of surviving.
The main and most under rate reason is poor government policy {local, state and federal}. Regulation of proper fundamentals of school. Proper police enforcement of the community. The people in places to bring business to the community providing jobs in the community!
When you have the perfect storm when all three fail! You have indirectly created another gang or gangster! Young people will survive "by all means necessary!"
But am going to give my beloved home town of Detroit, a break from it always being Black people who are violent and gave the city a bad name, so untrue!
We have to go back to days of prohibition {1920s & 1930s} there was a gang called the Purple Gang! The gang was formed by two brothers. Two (2) Jewish brothers from the lower East Side of Detroit. They were a murder for hire crew originally. They turn Detroit into the most bloodiest city in America at that time. They were so dangerous that the infamous Al "Scarface" Capone hired them to do the hit in the infamous St. Valentine Massacre! But soon after that they came into power by killing and controlling the illegal liquor {alcohol} business in Detroit and surrounding cities. They even moved in on Al Capone city of Chicago, but the Italian mafia struck a deal with the Purple gang to save Al Capone, he could only buy liquor from the Purple gang and nobody else!!! This is how tough and ruthless this Jewish gang was not even the Italian mafia want to go against the Purple Gang! As they say the rest is history, and here we are today!
There were Black gangs operating in Detroit at this time, but think of how tough they had to be to deal with the Purple Gang!
So now the motto for the city of Detroit became "roll with us or get rolled over!"
Now as Jewish and non- Jewish White gangs made millions from their crimes they bought legal business and changed their names! This option was not available to Blacks. For one they could only own certain business, the other was only in their community. If Blacks changed their names it would not matter because they would still be Black!

"A Black man couldn't even buy a Cadillac car from a dealership until the 1950s" Sugar Ray Robinson from Detroit was Boxing Champion in the 1940s could not even buy a Cadillac! He had to give the money to his White friend to buy it for him!
So who are some of the old Black Gangsters in America?
Probably one of the oldest Black Gangster you never heard of is Sam Young out of Chicago! Sam Young was instrumental in shaping and forming what would be the model of what the Black American Gangster would and could become!
Sam Young brung the numbers game or racket to Chicago in 1895. As the game grew in popularity, Sam Young started to employ many Blacks whom made a good living for the money they made. Sam Young's business grew and grew until he control the South Side of Chicago {where Blacks lived}. He had to pay off the crook cops in order to operate! Become tired of the greed cops, who want more and more of his earnings. Sam Young went political, he started guarantee politician he could swing the vote in the South Side if they would let him operate free of getting busted and greed cops. After long Sam Young started picking what politician would get elected in his area. He control the streets and the law in Chicago!
The numbers game or racket grew so big in every city and state in America, that by the 1960s the states started their own State Lottery Programs! So the next time you play the state lottery, three (3) or four (4) digit know that it came from a real Black Gangster who help his community!
Black Gangster are community people, they help out the community, fire- works for the kids. They donate money to the boys and girls clubs. They make sure the elderly are protect. They police our communities, not shoot and kill everybody. Please do not terrorize the community, be a living legend help the Black folks out maybe a hundreds years later somebody will write about you!!!
