Book Club / Art of War / Lesson : understanding

Understanding!

The more you understand something the better you can deal with or handle it! Now apply that to self!

KNOW THY SELF in knowing ones self will help you know your limitation in life and what necessary tools are need to over come certain limitation. This is building of lesson one (1) challenges. Knowing ones true ability will help conquer your enemy "challenge". The first tool we use is "understand", understanding what it is we are dealing with and the gravity of that situation!

UNDERSTANDING- the power of comprehending; especially: the capacity to apprehend general relations of particulars.

You may want to look at the definition of UNDERSTANDING, twice and look up words in definition to get the full understanding of what understanding really is!

The power of understanding a situation can help avoid it taking root and becoming a problem.

Example:
A good gardener always roots up a young weed before it starts to grow, once it is a fully grown weed, they are extremely hard to get rid of, some times the gardener can not get rid of them and has to dig the whole yard up!

Parallel:
You are the gardener, your life is the yard, challenges are young weeds, problems are fully grown weeds. When the yard {life} has become full of weeds {problem} you have to dig up the problems {drugs, alcohol and even sexually addictions and stress}. These are common problems to start with and your management of them!

*Sexual Addiction:
Sexual Addiction is a epidemic in American Culture. Sexual addiction is a over looked problem in our culture. This is the leading culprit in stress in young people. This leads too, to many multiple relationships and seeking to be in a so- called relationship, for sexual {lust} pleasures or to many encounters, in-which becomes to stressful for the individual and participating parties!

In the Art of War book, the wisdom of understanding is to foil the enemy {challenge} plot, is to remain ahead of them or it, with out using conflict {negative energy}.

peace, love and unity!
