*NOTE

There is a lunar / moon calendar being used, which is set to the spring equinox!
The spring equinox is March 21st. New moons are associated with women!

History of Easter:

It is a pagan holiday in its origins! The name comes German{Saxon} it is the name of a German Goddess? Eostre / Eastre / Ostara. The name was changed by the Roman Emperor Constantine and his clergy men in 325 A.D. / C.E at the Council of Nicaea. This was called the Easter Rule concerning the name and date of Easter. The math system they used to come with the dates is called computus !

*Tip
When you study ancient or old world people or and culture, the prominent deity will be females! Women ruled way before men did, thus mostly all important deity were female or had female attributes.

Goddess Eostre attributes and characteristics are sunrise, spring-time, fertility, renewal {rebirth}. Her followers gave her painted eggs. Rabbits are also associated with Eostre.

Costumes of Easter:

Eggs come from the Greeks. Greeks put eggs on graves as a symbol of rebirth, it means life breaking forth? {maybe pertaining to reincarnation}.

Rabbits in European culture are a sign or symbol of fertility, because they have so many baby rabbits {kits / kittens} and so fast. In European culture rabbits and hares are good luck! Thus, the lucky rabbits foot!

Astrology:

In astrology Eostre consort is Lepus the hare.
Lepus {Latin} means rabbit. Eostre gave Lepus the gift of laying eggs once a year. This also coincide with bunnies delivering eggs.

Easter:

This sounds like the Easter we celebrate, and very little to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ! Maybe this why Germans accuse Christians of pilfering their holiday?
