Abraham's sons

                                                      Abraham's Sons

This topic is part of the Ten (10) commandments! I want address Abraham's sons, the story in the Holy Bible and the one told in church do not coincide together.

Most Christians believe Abraham had only one son or only one that counted in Gods eyes. Abraham actually had eight (8) sons, Ishma-el, Issac, Midian, Zimran, Shuah, Ishbak, Jokshan and Medan.

We will look at the one son for now Issac, father of Judaism/ Christian nation! According to the Holy Bible and Christians this is the son God favored over Abraham's other seven (7) sons?

Issac- father of the Judaism/ Christian nation:
Lets state the facts before examining them: Issac is one of three (3) Patriarchs {male leader} of Judaism. He lived the longest of the three to a 180 years old. Issac and Rebecca had two (2) sons Jacob and Esau. The least is said about him in the Holy Bible among the three (3) Patriarchs Abraham, Issac and Jacob!

Gods promise in Genesis ch.15 ver.3- 6. So the story goes that Abraham second son Issac would be the heir and a nation of people, that would number like the  stars in the heaven?

First there was no nation given to Issac! The nation was given to Jacob "only after he wrestled with a angel and dislocated his hip and held the angel to dawn forcing the angel to bless him with a nation"! Maybe that is a lose translation but, that does not sound like no promise from God to me?
The fact is no nation was ever given to Issac but to his son Jacob!

Abraham sons:

1. Ishma-el: Father of the nation of Islam- Muslims/ Black Arabs Moors

2. Midian: Father of the Midianite nation. Mosses wife Princes Zipporah/ Tziporah was a Midianite. Lands in Sudan and Arabia.

3. Jokshan: Lands in Sheba {mordern day Yemen}

4. Zimran: {no results}

5. Medan: {no results}

6. Ishbak: {no results}

7. Shuah: Lands in Mesopotamia {mordern day Syria} Jobs friend Bildad was a Shuahite.

So it seems the opposite of what we have been told, Abraham's first two (2) sons Ishma-el his son by Hagar and Midian his son by Keturah had might nations and descendants like the stars in heaven.

*Tip
If you really love your faith and believe in it you have to read it, learn it and exam it to understand it. This is not anti- Christian or against the Holy Bible this is love of the faith!

If this is truly Gods word, like they say it is, it should not be with error as Issac having a nation.

This should not upset anyone, but make you read your Bible more carefully and demand a more pure understanding of the Bible from your Preachers and Ministers!
